Aoi Marushin Traditional tempura and tendon in Asakusa.
Aoi Marushin is built in 1946 in front of Sensouji. Their special tempura uses a little bit more flour for a skin of the tempura, called “flower bloom tempura.” The tendon uses tempura which is fried with special sauce and after that, the fresh tempura is placed on top.
Main popular dishes are Nadai Tendon, Tokujo Tendon, Kinryu fried oyster Tendon, and tempura set meal. Please taste Asakusa’s well-known Aoi Marushi Tendon/Tempura.
