Located in the Nakamise street, with a Pigeon mark, “Kimura house Ningyo-yaki (head shop)”, is the originator of Ningyo-yaki (doll shaped sweets). They also serve without red bean paste.
The idea of making doll shaped sweets comes from the founder in the Meiji era.
Even the famous author Mantarō Kubota loved this Ningyo-shaped sweets.
Enjoy the “just baked” Ningyo Yaki.
