This is a report on the status of Denpoin from the chairman of the Tourism Federation.

The Senso-ji Denpo-in Preservation and Maintenance Guidance Committee was held yesterday, August 10, and received an explanation of the progress of the construction, and visited the site.
Under the guidance of a committee consisting of professors who are specialists in landscaping, the history of Buddhist architecture, wood structures, architectural theory, etc., with the full cooperation of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, and the Taito Ward Board of Education, It was in 2015 that a survey was started for the preservation and maintenance work of both the garden and the building.
The reason why I included one amateur among the experts is that I interpret it as a role to inform the city of the progress, and I have been participating from the beginning.
I have not been able to grasp when and how to convey it, but I would like to report that the main part of the garden was completed and I was able to see the progress of the building for the first time.
"Kyogashima" is an island located between the five-storied pagoda and the Daishoin. It used to be dense with many trees, but it was refreshed and the surrounding water flow was revived to restore the appearance of the island.You can feel the charm of a mountain stream where water circulates from Ikeno-taki on the Daishoin side around Kyogashima.The garden as a whole is greener and the sky is wider, giving a stronger impression of being in another world.
The bridge has the names of ``Semui-bashi'' and ``Kyogashima-bashi''.
As for the building, the entrance and guest hall are under construction, followed by the kitchen and small study room, and the construction of the large study room and the new study room will start in 2024, and it will be completed by the end of 2027.
