The "Yamagata Prefecture Murayama City Tourism and Product Exhibition" is currently being held in the grounds of Sensoji Temple.There are stalls selling locally grown vegetables, local sake, Yamagata specialties such as taro stew and ball konnyaku.The event will be held today from 10am to 3pm.The large straw sandals hanging on the Hozomon Gate were donated by Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, and have been replaced approximately once every 10 years since 1941.This offering became the catalyst for an exhibition of the city's products to be held annually at Sensoji Temple.
