The Shitamachi Tanabata Festival will be held in 2024.
This year marks the event's 37th year.Tanabata decorations flutter along Kappabashi Main Street, where you can get a full view of the Skytree from its base.
On Saturday and Sunday, July 6th and 7th, an event will be held in the shopping district, turning it into a pedestrian-only street.
You can also enjoy food and drinks that have been carefully prepared by each store.

The Shitamachi Tanabata Festival is a local shopping street festival held every July on Tanabata on Kappabashi Hondori, which runs from Asakusa to Ueno.
