Kaminarimono Tahara shopping mall is located at Kaminarimon 1-chome at a street meeting about 200 meters from Tokyo Metro Tahara-cho station north to Asakusa International Street.
In 1954, it was established as “Tahara Town Commerce Association” at 13 stores, and immediately worked on arcade construction. After that, it was renamed as “Asakusa Kaminarimon Tahara Shopping Association” in Showa 50. The number of members also increased to 23 stores, and a new arcade was completed.
After that, in 2005, the long-awaited Tsukuba Express opened and the number of visitors to Asakusa International street has been increasing year by year as expected.
