Sumida River
Is derived from the fireworks for the festival for the god of water in Edo period, then was restarted in 1978 as “Sumida River fireworks”. About 20,000 shots firewoks are shoot from the downstream of Sakura bridge and Komagata bridge, over 900,000 people attend every year.
