Shitamachi Tanabata Festival 7/6-11,2016
During the weekend of July 7th every year, a festival is held 1.2 kilometers away from Ueno Iriya Station along Kappa Hashimoto Street.
The streets are decorated with ornaments and bamboo shoots, a parade and a show light up the shitamachi district of Asakusa.
